Your teen is capable.
So why does everyday life still feel so hard?
If your student is bright, motivated, and overwhelmed — you’re not alone.
I support neurodivergent teens and emerging adults as they learn to organize their lives, follow through on goals, regulate emotions, and practice independence in real time, in real life.
This work isn’t about managing your child.
It’s about helping them become self-directed.
Bright, Capable…and Still Stuck.
I work with students who are intelligent, motivated, and capable, but overwhelmed by the demands of real life.
This struggle often looks like:
Struggling with follow-through, organization, or time management
Difficulty regulating emotions or starting tasks
Anxiety around independence, transitions, or expectations
Needing support that goes beyond reminders or accommodations
Many of the students I support identify as neurodivergent, including ADHD and autistic learners. Many are navigating big transitions — high school to college, college to adult life, or the move toward greater independence.
Families are often told to “wait it out,” “try harder,” or juggle referrals. Students internalize the message that something is wrong with them.
That’s not the truth — and it’s not helpful.
A Guide Who Knows the Terrain
Neurodivergence is not a problem to be solved. It is a reality to be understood, supported, and celebrated.
Coaching is not about fixing. It’s about clarifying, equipping, and empowering.
My work is grounded in:
Over 27 years supporting neurodivergent individuals across settings
Lived experience as a woman with ADHD and a parent of a neurodivergent young adult
Deep background in education, executive functioning, and real-world supports
I’ve supported neurodivergent people:
In homes, schools, colleges, and communities
Through transitions, burnout, and growth
By building structures that actually teach executive functioning, not just compensate for it
I help students move from being managed → becoming self-directed.
Families deserve more than generic advice. They deserve a guide who understands the terrain and can translate it clearly.
How My Support Works
This is a collaborative, student-centered process — grounded in trust, structure, and clear boundaries.
This is not a quick fix, and it’s not about compliance. It’s about building skills that last.
If a family is looking for control or shortcuts, this may not be the right fit. If you’re looking for capability, confidence, and independence — we should talk.
My model combines:
1:1 coaching
Body doubling for momentum
Structured accountability
Parent partnership (when appropriate)
Real-life practice and reflection
Some students need light support. Others need a deeper, more comprehensive start.
When a student’s needs require it, I may recommend:
A comprehensive record review
A formal executive functioning assessment
